Dr. Paul Sufka received his M.D. from the University of Iowa Medical School in 2005 and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota in 2008. Following this, he spent one year at Regions Hospital as a Chief Resident in internal medicine with the University of Minnesota. He completed his fellowship training in rheumatology in June of 2011 with the University of Minnesota Department of Rheumatology. He currently works as a rheumatologist with Twin Cities Orthopedics, and will start seeing patients with them in mid-June 2023.
He has been practicing rheumatology for 11 years and has a passion for helping his patients live their best lives. He has been involved in teaching rheumatology fellows with the University of Minnesota, is involved in the American College of Rheumatology‘s Communications & Marketing Committee, and currently works as the social media editor for the official journals of the American College of Rheumatology (Arthritis & Rheumatology, Arthritis Care & Research, and ACR Open Rheumatology). He was also involved as a Founding Steering Committee Member & Technology and the Marketing Lead for The COVID-19 Global Rheumatology Alliance. His current publications are listed in Google Scholar.
